Corman Kokosing Construction, leading heavy highway, marine and industrial contractor, is looking for a Field Surveyor.

Summary
The Field Surveyor would work closely with management to provide layout for all facets of heavy highway construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead or be part of a survey crew depending on experience level
• Interact with management, subcontractors, and owner personnel to provide proper field layout
• Be able to prioritize layout and do in an efficient and timely manner
• Perform all work in a safe manner

Qualifications

• Associate/Bachelor Degree in Surveying or Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
• Understand surveying techniques and use of robotic/GPS instruments
• Computer proficiency in CADD and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication skills
• Must be able to climb ladders, work around traffic, and work in various weather conditions
• Good driving record
